Thanks for all the birthday wishes!!!! I was overwhelmed when I logged into my email today because of all the letters so instead of writing everyone back individually, I just wanted to thank everyone! Your support means so much to me and it motivates me so much on the mission!
So this week was unreal! We had 2 baptisms in our area on Friday and another one in my district on Saturday! This week I barely got to work in my area because we were traveling so much doing baptismal interviews, district meeting, and companion exchanges, but it was a fun week!
Ailen and Ignacio were finally baptized this week and it´s been so awesome to see them progress these last few months! These kids are truly special and they can recognize the Spirit so easily, it amazes me! The sad part is that their parents didn´t come to the baptism even though they gave the kids permission to be baptized. We have high hopes to help the whole family convert to the gospel and so we will continue to work with the parents (they aren´t married yet so they can´t be baptized).
The other highlight of the week was Gabriel´s baptism. I got to do his baptismal interview and baptize him and he impressed me so much with how much he knew! He is only 11 years old but he has such a strong testimony and he is helping his family to reactivate in the church!
After working with all these kids, I have seen why Jesus Christ said that the kingdom of God is of the little children (Luke 18:16). We have been working with kids so much lately and it´s so cool to see them accept the gospel so easily because they know that what they feel comes from God. We have another baptism in 2 weeks of a nine year old girl named Milagros and she is another amazing example of this!
Thanks for all the prayers and support! The mission is so amazing and I´m loving every minute of it! I hope you all have a great week and good luck in school! Ciao!
