Week 12 - I'm staying in Almafuerte.

¡Hola!
Wow, it´s Monday already? This week passed by so fast!
So the biggest news of the week were Transfers. I´m staying here in Almafuerte with my companion Elder Morales. I was kinda hoping for a new companion but that´s ok, we are going to work super hard this transfer! We have a ton of work to do and we can be better in so many ways so I can´t wait to get going on the next 6 weeks!

Another good thing about transfers is that Elder Dwiggins is training and because of that, he is staying with Elder Morales and I for the next 3 days while he waits for his companion to come here! And hopefully he gets a Gringo companion like me so that I´m not the only one that struggles with the language.

This week was a struggle but we have some solid investigators and one of them came to a session of General Conference with his family! I wasn´t expecting it at all and it was a huge tender mercy to see him show up.

So... General Conference here was a struggle. The internet connection wasn´t too great and it was in Spanish. I didn´t understand most of what was said, but I still received a ton of personal revelation and it was a good experience. Unfortunately we weren´t able to watch any of the 3 sessions on Saturday so I missed out on a lot. Plus I was kinda upset because everyone here thinks that the Saturday sessions aren´t as important so nobody watches them, they only watch the 2 Sunday sessions. What the heck? I tried to convince them that that wasn´t the case, but whatever.

This week was also awesome because my Spanish has improved SOOOOO much! I can have normal conversations with everyone and I can read everything! My Castellano still has a long way to go, but it´s making a lot of progress! I´m finally starting to understand the crazy accent here and I pick up more and more every day! It´s so freaking hard to be patient with the language, but Heavenly Father is helping me a ton!

That´s it for this week, nothing too crazy happened! I heard about the shooting at Oregon and I was really sad, and I´m praying for their families. Being a missionary really is the greatest thing ever. I basically jump out of bed every day because there is so much to do here and I have so much motivation to work! My testimony has grown so much and I KNOW without a doubt that this is the true church. We are so lucky to have the knowledge that we do! Have a great week everybody, I love you all!!!!
