This is your weekly report from Manteca Californnia.
This week was a really good week. This transfer was only four weeks long, so this was the last week of the transfer. We were able to do some good work this week! We are back in lockdown, so we spent all of our week inside. We saw a lot of miracles regardless.
I think that I had mentioned a kid named Jacob in a previous email, but he is a 16 year old kid that we street contacted in the park. This week we made a goal to get him to church and to put him on baptismal date for December 27th. Elder Anderson and I decided that we would do whatever it takes. We recognized things that we could give up and throw on the alter of sacrifice. We both consecrated ourselves as missionaries even more. And as we fasted for Jacob, we were able to see so many miracles. A lady who I have called countless times since my time here finally opened up and gave us her concerns. We were able to finally adress them, and it was a super cool Spiritual moment!
Sacrifice and consecration does bring miracles!!
This week I saw rain for the first time in months! It was refreshing to say the least. We also had transfer calls on Saturday night. I am lucky enough to be staying here in Manteca for the fifth consecutive transfer. By the end of this transfer I will have spent 1/3 of my mission here in the Northland ward. I am beyond grateful for that! I love this ward very much!
Also: My Mom's white chocolate popcorn has been a big hit here. In ward correlation yesterday we were informed that all of the ward council, is wanting the recipe for what they are calling, "Christmas Crack." Thank you Mom!!
