I'd be lying if I said that this week went by fast. Even though it felt like it didn't. Two steps forward one step back I guess it goes. We are starting from ground zero in this area, trying to create trust in the members, and find anyone that the missionaries were teaching prior. Even though there were no one that were being taught here before us. The only real friend we have is Gary. He's not even in our ward, but we are keeping that on the down low because he would eat our zone leaders alive. If he actually progresses at all we will hand him off.
We had the opportunity to have interviews with President and Sister Zimmerman. It was a really good experience. Sister Zimmerman connected with my heart, and I basically cried the whole time I was able to talk to her. She brought up me missing my family and it was game over after that. President Zimmerman is really in tune with the Spirit. He basically perceived everything that I was feeling and questioning. He told me that the Lord needs my companion and I to learn these experiences now, to be used later on in my mission. Maybe I'll just be a shotgun missionary. Not gonna lie I like the sound of that. I am grateful for President Zimmerman, he and I have a lot of them same mantalities.
Probably the most exciting thing to happen this week happened last night. We were pulling into our parking spot when, BANG, a golf ball flew through our rear windshield. It was pretty loud and we kind of thought that we got shot at because it was loud and there was a hole through the back of our windshield.
