I just realized that I was writing in portuguese, It ́ll take me awhile to rewrite all that, do you think you could use google? I love you guys! I'm doing great and hope you have a great week!
Hi Mom! This week was very good. We had many researchers in the church with us Sunday, and we also have a lot of hope for our new researchers to teach. Two older men are wanting to be baptized. We are helping them with some commandments and I have a lot of faith in them. Adauto and Josiah. This week, we will focus on the people closest to baptism so we can prepare someone for the next transfer. One of the elders in my district was having cardiac arrest because of the stress of his knee problem. We were helping him a little this week, and if you could pray for him, that would be great. His name is Elder Lira. I just realized that I was writing in Portuguese, It'll take me awhile to rewrite all that, do you think you could use google? I love you guys! I'm doing great and hope you have a great week!
Letter to Jason:
Hey Dad! This week has been pretty great! we have some new investigators, and we are teaching a lot of people. I'm hoping that we get to see Adauto, the twins, and Samuel get baptized this Sunday, but we ́ll have to see how it works out. I gave my district the ´´White Christmas ́ ́ challenge this transfer, and i have a lot of hope and faith in them. Elder Lira has had a knee problem for the last few months and now he´ll be getting the test results back. Because of that, he's been really stressed, and he's been experiencing cases of cardiac arrest. We ́ve (the Mission President, Zone Leaders, and I) been counseling him to rest a little and try to get his mind off the exams, but he insists on working a least a little. His faith and diligence is really inspiring, but he also needs to take his safety into account. He was able to arrange a member of his ward to give them rides to some appointments to help keep his heart rate down. He should be getting the results back today. Also, the sisters from Agudos lost their phone, so they have been calling me by member ́s phones. They are supposed to call every other day, but I haven't heard from them since last Thursday. I ́m hoping they find a way to contact me today. If not, I ́ll try calling a member of their ward and see if he has heard from them. I love the temple so much, and am so glad I had the opportunity to do a session at Salt Lake before the renovations. I am really excited to go again. I can ́t wait to see what has changed, but more importantly, feel that sweet strong spirit that abides there. I miss the temple a lot, and the peace and security that we find there. I can ́t wait to go through again. I love you guys so much! Have a great week!!
