It has been a couple of weeks since I have seen snow and now it is just hot. We never really got a spring. Kind of sad, but I guess it is what it is. Also Norway doesn't really have Air Conditioning so we shall see what happens as the summer progresses, so far I'm a much bigger fan of Winter than Summer.
We taught Rodrigo the Word of Wisdom on Thursday, and it went great. We got to tea, and he grabbed his iced tea out of the fridge, asked if it was okay, it wasn't so he just said okay and set it outside his fridge. Every time we teach him it is such a humbling experience because he will just accept what we teach.
Also just got back from Teaching Travis, and man is he a studier, but in a very good way. He has been studying a lot about how the spirit world fits in with the Bible and it is so interesting to see, because he says he can feel the truthfulness of the doctrine but hasn't been able to hook it in with his past knowledge yet.
We also talked to Alexander in the hall at church, and he mentioned that he had been reading in the Book of Mormon. We are going to teach him again tonight so I am excited for that.
Another big thing that happened on Sunday was we got to teach the 3-year-olds. There were five of them and it was interesting to say the least. One of the highlights was when they all decided to spontaneously start screaming, it took a few minutes to settle them back down to relatively peaceful. I am very thankful that not every Sunday is like that, but it was a good experience.
In our lesson we talked a lot about God's love and how it comes first before everything else, so these scriptures just seem right to share.36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is the first and great commandment.39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
