We are in Oslo today for P day and will be going sledding with the Oslo Elders, so this email should be pretty brief as we need to go sledding!
We had splits with fredrikstad this week, was pretty crazy. One of the things we did was try to track down a member referral. Sadly, the address did not exist. We were searching for #8 but on one side of the street it was 1 3 5 7 while the other side was 12 14 16 18. I don't know what happened to the beginning even numbers but they were no where to be found.
We also got to play football with our ward on Wednesday night. It was a blast, but I was definitely out of my comfort zone. It was fun, and it's a way we are using to connect with some less-actives and investigators.
The reason we are in Oslo is it was our turn for helping out at the musical, but we couldn't find any members to drive us. We got permission to take a train and stay over the night. This week has been a blast with all the different missionaries we have been hanging out with.
We met with Alexander (31) again while we were on splits. I was with Elder Anderson who was in my MTC group. We were teaching the plan of salvation and got to explaining the different degrees of glory, and weren't really able to explain sufficiently. However, Alex was able to explain it thoroughly because he said it just made sense. That was an awesome feeling.
Scripture this week is Alma 37:37.37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.Prayer is always good, and the more we strive to make our prayers meaningful the more they shall help us.
That's all for this week, you'll hear more next week!--
