Week 94 (San Ignacio)

Hello everyone!

It has been a splendid week here in San Ignacio! The 4th of July was a complete success as I am sure it was for all of you as well! How can it not be on the birthday of our great country! Thanks to all those who sent pictures! It is always fun to see what you are all up too! I will send pics too, even though i couldnt get that great of ones because we were busy making sure every thing was in place right before it started! But igual it was great. McDonalds, trainings about the USA Constitution and how it played a part in the Restoration of the Gospel and Root Beer Floats and games and it was a really good time. Sister Svec (the mission presidents wife) even took my challenge and gave a training in English! It was so neat! She is so awesome!

As for the investigators, we are hitting some dead ends. It kinda had me down this Friday, Saturday and Sunday but I have realized that everything happens for a reason. We had several investigators with a baptismal date for this Saturday, but after several moves (to different cities), family problems, and just not wanting to keep the commandments, it looks like nobody will reach that goal for this Saturday. Although, we still have hope for them the next Saturday (my last in the mission) that would be neat to share those experiences in the last moments of my time here! We will see what happens! It is still quite possible because we were able to have many investigators at church yesterday, we just need God´s hand to move a couple things and prepare the way! We will just keep working hard.

This week will keep us busy. We will travel to Ayolas (2 hours) to do divisions with Elder Andrus and Elder Libby on Wednesday and then on Thursday the Elders from Pila (2 to 3 hours away) will come here and we will do divisions. Then next week we will go to Pilar and so that will be a lot of traveling.

Well not sure what else to report, kinda weird that it is getting so close. Doesn´t feel real at all.

I love you all, hope you have a great week!

Elder Willardson
