Ciudad del Este, Paraguay

Elder Bezzant

Week 85 (Barrio 2 CDEEEEE)

It seems like these last couple months my P-Day (or really just my time to write I should say) is a different day every week! Here I am on a wednesday after a crazy monday and tuesday of traveling! As we usually do the week after transfers, we had our Leadership Council with all the Zone Leaders from the mission yesterday. Which means for us missionaries in Paraguay (and even more since we are from CDE) we had to travel from here to Encarnacion and then cross the bridge to Argentina! It was quite the adventrue considering that our bus heading to Encarn from Ciudad del Este (6 hour trip) was basically just a city bus with traveling bus seats.......and as always, we face some very unhappy faces from the immigrations workers when we show up with our United States Passports, but it was fun nonetheless!! And we got to have FHE and sleep in the mission home which is always a treat!

The Meeting was actually just awesome. We were able to have an Area Seventy, Elder Krasnoselsky, there with us and it was really amazing to hear his council for how us as missionaries can really reach our potential that we have a representatives of Jesus Christ.

Elder Bezzant and I had a stellar first week together! We were able to continue working with David and also with one of the friends of our recent convert Estela whose name is Nilda. They were both able to attend church along with another friend of a member named Alvaro. I just love being in Barrio 2 and I am grateful to know all of the members and have good relationship with them because really the Lord´s work goes forth even more with the great members we have here. They are so awesome! They have been working hard to visit their fellow members of the church and Sunday we were able to have 191 people at church. It was so special to see the chapel full and the Spirit was there in the meeting and everyone could feel it.

Transfers this week were just crazy and Elder Bezzant and I were all over the place for a couple days trying to help the new missionaries get situated. We had 4 companionships doing a "White Wash", which means they both are entering the area together and dont know where their apartment or the church or anything is, and for like the 3rd transfer in a row the whole zone is training someone! Ciudad Del Este just always grabs crazy transfers! But I love it! It was fun to be in contact with all the missionaries and I love spending time with the New Missionaries, they bring such an energy.

Well I dont know what else to share, and tampoco do I have the time to share much more, but I hope you know I love each and every one of you! Have the best week!

Love always,

Elder Willardson
