Elder Andrus

Week 75 (You guessed it.........CDE)

Hello everyone!!!

This week was a bit rough I must admit......but we were able to see a couple miracles that really helps me know that God will never let me get too frustrated without giving me a little help. Problems and setbacks are part of life but he will never try us more than we can handle. I know that to be true.

As for the investigators we have several with dates to be baptized but nobody could make it to church yesterday so that complicates their progress a little but we are not without hope. Estela couldnt make it and she needs a little more time so we will probably be looking for a March 18 baptism for her! Should be exciting.

A cool thing happened yesterday when I must admit I was a little discouraged because I felt we had worked so hard and didnt see much success, but anyways we went to visit a really cool investigator (really cool meaning that he read from 1 Nephi to Mosiah in 4 days) that we had been teaching like a week ago but we hadnt been able to be in touch with him and we thought we had lost contact. So we went to his house to try one last time and he wasnt we decided well there goes it with Ramon....looks like we gotta drop him. We litterally walk 2 blocks down the road and we get a call from a number we dont have saved and it was him asking why we dont visit him anymore. We had given his mom a card and asked her to give it to him but we didnt think she actually would....but she did! So we told him we had just passed by and he asked us to come back and we had a great lesson with him. We hope he will be able to complete his goal and be baptized the 25 of March! It was quite a tender mercy of the Lord.

Our Consejo this past tuesday with all the Zone Leaders was quite incredible! Elder Andrus and I loved it and we were so excited coming back to our area on Wednesday. We hit the ground working with all that we learned and also we have our Zone Meeting tomorrow to talk about all that was shared to help the Zone be excited! i am stoked, it is really well planned!!

Well other than that not much to report! Things our good here. i hope it cools down more, but other than that! All good!

Love always,

Elder Willardson

PS I am gonna get back on in a couple hours at the church and I finally have some pictures to send so I will send them there!
