Elder Viveros

Week 40 (Ciudad Del Este)

Hello Everyone,

Well this week was pretty good. We had our final Zone Conference with President and it was so spiritual. The Spirit was so strong and it was an amazing experience. I am definitely gonna miss him but I know that President Svec will be great too!

Another highlight that just made my week was with the Zone Conference a couple letters arrived. One was from Manuel (Obera) and it was a really cool letter. He told me a bunch of stuff about his life. He proposed to his Girlfriend and he keeps going to church. He says that one day he will be baptized because "he knows our church is true" Really something special to read stuff like that. The other was from none other than FAMILIA CERON! Wow this letter was incredible. He told me everything. About the baptism and he sent me photos, about how he received the Priesthood about how excited they are to give talks in Sacrament Meeting, about everything!! Really it put a huge smile on my face to realize I have made some of the best friendships of my life doing what I love most. Preaching the Gospel. It is definitely the hardest thing I have ever done but it is the best as well. I love every minute and it is soooooo worth it!

Well the work here in CDE is tough but it progresses a little by little. I have felt a lot of pressure this transfer (even though really it is all self developed) with Training and being District Leader and at the same time not having much success in my own area. But I do need to be better being more patient and diligent and not worry and just work. I think that will be the key.

The cool thing here is that we might be opening a new unit. The ward wants to take a part of the area that is really really far away from the church and make a group which could then become a branch and then a ward! So we kind of have the opportunity to start it. It will take a long time and a lot of work to get it going good but it will be cool to be one of the first Pioneer missionaries. So I am excited for that.

Well my letters aren't that great I know...I will try to be better! But know that I love you all and thank you for everything! I love getting your letters and hearing about your lives!

Love always,

Elder Willardson
