Thanksgiving in Russia

Hello family and friends,

Transfers!! Staying in the Dauchney ward with Elder Nelson! Its gunna be a blast. We have 10 potential baptisms for the quarter. We are going to work super hard this next cycle!

Thanksgiving last week was and it was amazing. Russian Thanksgiving consists of fake mashed potatoes, Chicken (because you can't buy turkey), Russians quizzing us Americans about the history of the holiday, and Russians trying to be Americans for a day. We bowled a pumpkin and we did the turkey hand and everyone said what they are thankful for. It was so much fun.

When I come home I will show everyone how we do Thanksgiving in Russia? Haha just kidding

It snowed pretty hard a couple of days ago. Russians don't use Ice melt or salt they use sand and dirt haha

On the way to sports day we were walking down some steps and Nelson says to me "be careful these steps are slippery." I am just thinking I know what snow is like I know what I am doing. I go down a couple of steps and then start speeding up and then I just totally biff it. I feel like someone was saying "lets humble Elder Kramer" I guessed I deserved it. I had a warning and I didnt really listen. So the moral of the story is be careful and listen to those warnings.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Love Elder Kramer
