Hello everyone!
Hope you all had a great week! We had a special video conference with Elder Ucthdorf of the Twelve Apostles for all of Chile. It was very special and we all received lots of individual guidance.
This week we had an amazing experience as we taught a lesson. We went with the Bishop to visit a lady that has been learning from the missionaries for a few years. She has wanted to follow Christ for a while, but she just never quite got to baptism. This time, we went in trying to get to know her (it was my first time teaching her). We started talking, and things turned back to faith and obedience. I don't remember everything that was said, but I remember the presence of the Spirit. In the middle of this small living room, the Spirit made it burn like an oven. We could feel God's love for this woman and she could feel His desire for her to join the church. I'd love to say that it was something special that we as missionaries did, but that would be a lie. Completely and utterly, it was the power of the Spirit brought by the testimony of the Bishop. Finally, Bishop asked her, "what day do you want to get baptized and enjoy all of the blessings that Heavenly Father has in store for you?" She accepted immediately. There are very few times when I have seen the power of Christ's love so clearly working within someone, but they are always incredible.
There is no doubt that He is the Lord of the Vineyard. I hope you all have a great week,Elder Knight
