Mission Tour!

Spiritual thought: "If you feel small and weak, please simply come unto Christ who makes weak things strong" Dieter F. Uchtdorf

This week was super awesome! A Lot of cool things happened. We had a Seventy come to the mission and have a mission tour! Here are some highlights from that and the rest of the week!
Highlights 1) Well we can first talk about the Mission Tour, Elder Tai came to our mission... well he actually just zoomed in haha but either way it was still super cool. Because it was over zoom we had 1 hour meetings every day from Tuesday to Friday. We talked a lot about goals and how to set effective goals.  We talked about family history and how we can apply that into our missionary work, and the last day he just answered our questions that we submitted to him.  That was super cool. On Tuesday and on Friday all the zone leaders and sister training leaders got to have a MLC with Elder Tai and talk about the mission and what goals we can make to help the mission to grow.  It was a special experience and I was super humbled to be a part of that! Also because Elder Tai was doing everything over zoom he was able to do a lot of different things, one thing he was able to do was zoom into our district council role plays, that was really cool we had an  opportunity to roleplay for him and to receive feedback about how we can improve. It was a super awesome experience.
2) We had a couple of really awesome lessons this week, first we had a lesson with our friend Kenny who is on date for the 28th and it was the best lesson we have had with him, he is really progressing and is wanting to be better.  He is super excited about his baptism! Then we had 2 lessons with our friend Victoria who is on date for the 21st and both the lessons went great. She is super prepared and is excited to be baptized and to enter the temple with her family to be sealed to them. And on sunday we had a family of 4 come to church and right after we had a bible study with them. 12 members of the ward joined us, it was such a great experience and the spirit was so strong and the members did a great job to welcome that family and to bring the spirit so cool!
3) Sunday was a crazy day our bishopric got released and we got a new one! So that will be fun to be working with a brand new bishopric! We also went out and contacted a lot of people we have not been able to contact for a long time. We decided to go and knock on their doors and it was a super awesome experience! We set up 2 appointments for next week and we found this guy named Austin and he and his mom want to take the lessons.  They seem super solid so we are excited about that!
4) We had a service project this week cleaning up more trees and branches haha and we cleaned up 3 yards with a bunch of members it was super awesome always amazing to be able to serve god's children!
