2 Steps forward 1 step back

You know the saying two steps forward 1 step back well this week felt like the one step back. We met with a bunch of people and there still progressing but it just felt like a slow week, my companion and I are getting kind of frustrated with the finding situation but hopefully things will turn around soon.
Spiritual Message: I learned a lot about the atonement this week and there's a couple of things that stood out to me... First is that Christ atoned for all of our sins i know that's hard to comprehend some times but he really did and he knows how we feel at all times and he can relate to us through all our trials! When we don't feel "worthy" to pray or we feel like we have messed up to bad that we can't come back that is when we need to get on our knees and pray to him. There's a couple of steps to the repentance process first is acknowledging that you did something wrong second is praying and asking for forgiveness third is changing your ways and fourth,  this one is the most important i think is allowing Christ to take those burdens away from you.  Often times we ask for forgiveness but don't allow him to forgive us.  When we turn to the Lord we need to let him take away our pains and afflictions and stop holding on because that's the only way he can help us.
Day 1: Today was a good day! We set up an appointment with Allyssa (the one that works at Lids) and we taught her a small lesson in the store it was awesome we are so excited to teach her we feel like she is super prepared! We also had a lesson today with Alex and Bri and it went super good we answered a lot of there questions and they are progressing and we are super excited to teach them more.
Day 2: Today was a pretty good day! We taught two lessons one was with this new girl named Victoria she is catholic but is interested in learning more about us. Something I learned today was how similar we are to the catholics! Wow we are very similar but there are key differences. The differences were obvious as we talked about it.... and they are the power of the priesthood the power of god on earth to lead and guide his church in this modern day! Also the leading and guiding power of the Book of Mormon we don't realize how lucky we are to have that in our lives and we really need to use it more in our everyday life! We met with our Boy Jim today he's progressing really well and I can feel how close he is to finding the truth it's awesome I'm excited to keep teaching him!
Day 3: Halloween! Today was good not a lot happened. We had district council which was good, it was also the last one of the transfer! So crazy! After that at around 7 we went to a Halloween party that Treyson (Our Branch Mission Leader) put on it was awesome and we got to meet some non members there so that was good overall it was a pretty cool, chill night.
Day 4: Wow today was long ! We didn't have any lessons so we went finding all day! We went to TCC and the Mall today and didn't find one new person it was pretty disappointing. But sometimes the lord gives you these hard day's to make the good days that much better!
Day 5: Today was a pretty fun day! We got up early this morning and drove down to Muskogee which is about an hour drive to go help install fire alarms with the red cross it was awesome our whole zone was apart of it and another zone came too it was so much fun.  Pretty much the only people that came were missionaries,so it is a good thing we came haha. That went from 8 to 3... we then had a lesson with Marco which went awesome! He was having a hard time with life so we were able to comfort him and provide him with some help it was so awesome!
Day 6: Sabbath day! Fast sunday is always the best, it was the worst as a kid but the best as a missionary! So cool how that works.
