Friday Night Lights

I don't have a whole lot of time, but I do want to make sure and brag about how amazing this week was!!
Last week after Preparation day was over Elder Jones and I were determined to find someone to teach. We decided to go visit a media referral from about a year ago, that I have never been able to get in contact with. (I had been by like 40 times)
Long story short, we made contact and then ended up teaching her, so that was a miracle. It didn't end there though. We had set a time to go back on Friday at 7 pm. As we were walking up to her house we saw her and it seemed as though she was going to dodge us. Because she quickly went inside. When she came out she brought 3 chairs and we sat under the trees as we taught her the purpose of life and the Restoration of the gospel. After the lesson we asked her to pray and she said, "Most defiantly!"
Her prayer was one of the most sincere prayers I have ever heard in my life! During the prayer she petitioned God to help her find the Truth and where she needs to go to find the truth!
After that lesson we had to fly over to another lesson with Joe. Elder Jones and I had made a lesson plan with him where we would draw on his white board the "genealogy" of the Book of Mormon, so then he could get the names figured out. Then afterwards we were going to draw the story out for him so he could understand it better.
When we knocked on his door he casually said, "I read guys. And you are going to love my explanation of what happened." I became very curios about how he was going to explain the first 3 chapters of the Book of Mormon, especially because Joe literally has no filter!
We strolled out to his garage, where we usually have our lessons, and thats when Joe pointed to the white board and said, "Tada"
On the white board was his drawing of what had happened in the first 3 chapters. He then began to explain what happened by using the words "These 3 homies wanted their book back, but that jerk of a guy named Laban wouldn't give it to them. Man that Laban guy needs to get smacked!"
It was so amazing! Lol!
I guess God saved that white board from Elder Jones and I's terrible drawing and allowed Joe to show what he's got!
Looking back to that Friday night from 7 to about 9:30 was the best Friday night I have ever had. Even better than any Friday night lights and most of you know how much I love those lights! Football on Friday defiantly brings me a small amount of happiness to me especially when you end the night with a win, but the happiness I felt this Friday Night, far from any football field, was a feeling of pure and eternal happiness. Happiness that came from seeing two people I love began to make major changes in their lives to be able to see eternal happiness as well!
I love this work! It helps me put things into perspective and begin to look at others the way God looks at us!

Shoot me an email and give me an update on life!
