Yeah yeah...its been about 2 months since I last wrote one of these. A lot has happened since then! I hit my year mark September 25th so I've now been out about 13.5 months. I'm still District Leader training in Schertz, TX
We still have a womping teaching pool of about...mm...well...about 0 progressing investigators. So that's fun! We have found a few potentials though. We are starting to reactivate a part-member family with an un-baptized 9 year old. We also will start meeting with a 16 year old girl who pretty much already wants to get baptized at this point. So things are looking up!
As far as my mission goes, this has definitely been the most trying few months. Despite my best efforts we cant seem to find elect people to teach. It's hard to want to do the same things everyday without success. But Teen-age! loves effort! Tee-hee! No, its not that bad, but the Lord is definitely putting me to the test. It is definitely in this hard time that I've learned the most.
2 Cor 4:17-18For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
My favorite scripture⬆️in the New Testament still proves itself to be true
I love this Gospel! I really do. My testimony is as strong as ever. At this point I cant deny that this Gospel is true. I may not be finding non-members to teach, but I still see miracles quite often. Whether it be with members or within myself. If your testimony is struggling, read the Book of Mormon. Read it and take in every verse. Pray and strive to feel the Spirit. As you strive for these things, your own Spiritually Defining Memories will be made
