Elder Iverson Group Email 03/23/20 (Self Isolation)
Yep we are in self isolation now which kind of stinketh. Pretty much we shouldn't leave the apt much more then to go to the store, do service, or just get a little fresh air. Luckily I'm in a four elder apt so it's not too bad. As the week went on the news got worse and worse every day. Hopefully we can avoid full quarantine🙏
We started a Facebook group called "Trying to Be Like Jesus". Hopefully we can lift people's spirits and invite them to come unto Christ. It'll be our secondary source for finding behind member referrals. Please join and invite your friends that you think might benefit in anyway. We need all the support we can get. My companion and I dont know how to social media.
We have been getting a lot of video messages out and have had a few video calls. Service is what is keeping us sane.
In these times I've been able to really see the importance of a modern day prophet. In my studies in the Isaiah chapters of the Book of Mormon (2 Nephi) I've been able to find a lot of verse talking about Christ and his greatness2 Nephi 19:6
