This week has been pretty awesome. I'll just say the highlights
We met with Noel and Marko Monday night. Their mom came in and sat on the lesson too. They have a lot of potential. They loved the Plan of Salvation.
We found a guy named Kaan. He is Muslim and he seems pretty interested in our message.
We went and did service at an old persons home and they were so sweet and funny. We built gingerbread houses and my group won. I have pictures of it that I'll send.
Our 9 year old named Kayden is going to be baptized on the 28th. Surprisingly he picked me to baptize him!
To go along with that, Nancy picked to be baptized a week earlier! She will also be baptized the 28th and I'm 82.7% sure she'll pick Elder Dewsnup to baptize her. Kayden and Nancy might share the service.
I sang Feliz Navidad with my apartment and the Spanish sisters at the Spanish branch Christmas party. It was sweet.
Sunday was a super spiritual day. Church was awesome and Sunday School was really cool. We did some sort of silent Light the World lesson. It really helped me think about the true meaning of CHRISTmas.
Later that night we went finding. We ran into this lady named Stephanie. It was a 40 min contact and went super well. We left her with a Book of Mormon
💥highlight of the week💥After contacting Stephanie, we had personal study planned from 8-9pm. So we were getting ready to bike back to the apt but I felt like we should keep finding. So we biked around for about half an hour in this giant apt complex because we are not supposed to knock past 8pm. Within that half hour we got offered alcohol, weed, and got made fun of. The whole time I was waiting for the Spirit to guide me somewhere. Finally I saw this college aged student walking on the side of the road. I went to go contact him but he didn't quite hear me because he had ear buds in. It was kinda awkward so I almost went by him without sharing a message but I overcame the dumb natural man side of me and started my message. It was the smoothest I've ever delivered a message and I did it nearly without Elder Dewsnup saying anything. We gave him a Book of Mormon. He loved the brief rundown of the Plan of Salvation and he loves it. His name is Dylan and we'll probably meet with him soon. We couldn't make a return appointment right then and there because he has a week of college to get through before he's back on Round Rock It's been a blast out here. I know that the Lord prepares people for us to find and receive the gospel. His work and glory is to bring to pass the immortality and life of man. It's such a privilege to be a part of that.
