Hello Friends and Family! Just want to apologize for the lame emails home lately, things have been crazy, so i'll be better at making them a little more detailed. But anyways, hope all is well with y'all!
Monday was pday and the first pday with the new schedule. It was nuts. Pday starts at 8 am now instead of 10, so we had a lot more time to get things done. We had the Kalkaska and Gaylord elders over and we played some games and hung out, so it was fun. We went and stopped by a few more people that night and were able to talk to some more potentials, so it was good.
Tuesday we mostly went finding and that was mainly it!
Wednesday we had our last district meeting of the transfer, and it was great! We reviewed the training that was given at Zone conference about finding. So we had a great discussion. We came back to TC and did some service at the Pavilions and then did some finding. We had dinner with a lady who is getting ready to go to the temple for the first time and talked a lot about that. It was good we went to Chilis (haven't had that since the AZ days) and then we had a lesson with good ol' Jerry! He is going to be baptized on the 25th of February and he is excited! Gonna get this hillbilly in the water! I'll have to send a pic, this guy is hilarious!
Thursday we went finding, but had a couple lessons with some cool ladies. Pat is the sister of a member and is super interested in the church and wants to get back into church! We saw a lady named Toni who lost her husband last year and was going through some hard times. She found the Plan of Salvation to be very comforting. We got transfer calls that night and Elder Harris and I are staying together for a third transfer! Should be fun!
Friday we were walking, so we went door knocking for most of the day and found some really cool people. We watched the Restoration with Jerry at the church and he really enjoyed it!
All in all, I'm ready for a new transfer! We got some new missionaries up here in the best zone in the mission, so we are excited to see what happens!
