Laboring in a Winter Wonderland!

Whats up everybody?! Let me tell you it has been one crazy week! The weather has been nuts! Earlier this week it was 50s and 60s and by the end of the week it was snowing! Michigan weather, I'm telling you, its crazy. Fun stuff though, cant believe its already almost Thanksgiving! Heres the weekly info.

Monday we had our normal pday, doing laundry, shopping, emailing, bball. After bball, we went on trade offs, and I went to Dewitt again but this time with my district leader Elder Elmer. That was pretty cool I was with him until Wednesday morning, when we met for our zone training. It was really awesome, I love learning from experienced missionaries. Elder Elmer goes home Dec. 30th, so he's pretty seasoned. He taught me some cool things while knocking, and though we didn't teach he gave some cool insights too! One cool thing that happened was when we were going to do service at Sweetilicious (a world renowned bakery), and as we got to the door, this man came out and said HEY! He put down his box, pulled out his wallet and gave us 20 bucks, and walked away. We got his name, but nothing else was said. Super cool miracle! Wednesday we had our zone training by the Zone Leaders and Sister Training leaders! It was awesome the things that I learned! A lot of cool deep doctrine and inspiring insights! We were in shine city later that day, all of our investigators shined us. got a lot of finding done though! Thursday we had our weekly planning and then went and visited a lot of our potential investigators. Friday was pretty chilly and we did a lot more finding. Our appointments also fell through or they shined us. Saturday was probably the coolest day, never seen it snow before, so that was cool! We went and did some knocking in the snow and that was fun! People thought we were crazy! Quick story. So my companion is always walking ahead of me, so I decided to teach him a lesson (a nice lesson he he). When it snows, the tree branches hold a bunch of snow, until you hit or shake the tree. I think you might know where I'm going with this. He took off ahead of me again, so I made a good sized snowball and waited until he was just about under the tree, and I threw it. What happened was, it hit the branches, and a bucket of snow just covered him. Boy that was funny! I had fun with that all day!

Thanks again for all the letters and mail! Hope you all have a good week and a happy Thanksgiving!
