Elder Kaas-Australia-Week 34
This past week was all good! On Tuesday night, we had a Samoan feed. It was nice as. I ate heaps. I love the islander food because their vegetables aren't really vegetables they are more like meat so pretty much it is an only meat feed. They have salad on the table but no one ever even touches it. It is pretty crack up. On Thursday and Friday we did footy finding and we got a potential from it. This past weekend was our stake conference. On Saturday we had the adult session and the main message was on ministering and just simply praying and being a friend for others. Our mission president has been preparing us for this. Last transfer he told us to start visiting as many less actives and part member families as we can. On Sunday, they mainly spoke on going to the temple and always having a recommend. On Sunday night, we had our investigators Asia and Habib meet us in Campbelltown for a recent convert fireside. It was really great and they felt the spirit. I am really enjoying my time here in the city, there is a lot more opportunities to talk to people and more people we can visit and help. Dear Mum and Dad,
This past week was heaps of fun. Got to eat at a Samoan members house this week. It's really funny because my companion will be talking to them in samoan and they think because I am palagi I do not anything what they say but I will understand a few words. Then I will say something to them and they will crack up. They love when you eat all of their food and none of the white people food. We also did heaps of footy (rugby). It is a really fun sport and is heaps better than gridiron. My soa and I go to a tennis court by our flat most mornings and play mini volley together. We got a few less actives to go to the stake conference which is good. I think we will get more updates on the mother's day thing probably next week or the one after. I will try asking our Zone leaders about it and see what they know. Sounds like yous are keen as to rest today. I heard that Avengers: infinity War came out. There are heaps of ads for it all over the city. There are 3 parts to the whole thing and the movie that just came out is just part 1 so do not freak out if heaps of them die haha. Hope yous have a good and safe week next week love yous.
