This past week went by fast as. We spent a lot of time at the Train Station and Parramatta Square talking to random people. It can be nerve racking at first, but after you just start opening your mouth it is all goods. We got quite a bit of potentials that hopefully we can work with. We met with one potential named Dave who we found last week and we have a return appointment with him next week after ANZAC Day (it's like our Veterans/Memorial Day in the US). We got to do service with our Stake President. We did some work at his school, and the mower that they had didn't work so we cut the lawn with the whipper snipper (weed wacker). My companion had a little fun with it, and made a picture in the lawn. On Wednesday nights, we do footy (touch rugby) finding and at the field next to us. Elder Mafi Vili saw his rugby team that he played in Samoa. We got to watch his team play for a little bit. The islanders have a really great culture, they are always are so loving and care for everyone like they are family. I got to go to my first ward council on Sunday, that was a good experience. Thanks for all of the support and have a great week.
Sincerely,
Elder Kaas
Letter to Mum and Dad-Dear mum and dad,
This past week was all goods. Sounds like yous are heaps busy. The city is pretty fast paced. I am not sure if I like or don't like the fast pace. I actually think it is not to bad and I deal with it quite well. I don't really like sitting around doing nothing anymore. I got to sit in my first ward council ever. It was very interesting. I am sure it is a different experience having ward council in Australia. I do not have any details about the mother's day thing. I will inform with the info when I get it. Hope yous have a safe and fun week. Love yous.
