Australia Week 5
Dear Parents,
The holidays (spring break) are over starting today! We did lots of door knocking this past week. We actually got heaps of potentials even though some sisters in our zone claimed that Cowra has already been completely tracted. We had Zone Training Meeting on Friday in Bathurst and we learned about each of the Christ like attributes in Preach My Gospel. It was really good. After that we did Zone P day and played 10 pin. Then we played ping pong at the chapel in Bathurst.
General Conference was really good. You can put all of the talks into one sentence. In this sentence I wrote, "If ye desire to fulfill thine divine nature ye shall love and serve one another and heed to the words of the prophets." I learned so much from general conference and priesthood session. I do not have time to tell you everything I learned so that is why I put it in that sentence. But my favorite talks were from Elder David A. Bednar and Elder Russell M. Nelson. I suggest yous give em a read again. Make sure Madden and Chloe listen really well to the one by President Nelson.
Not many people celebrate Halloween because they say that it is an American thing so they should not do it. Even if they did we would not participate. We had 2 investigators come to general conference. One is a 75 year old named Rod who is a Rabbi. The other is named Dylan who is 12 years old and told a family in the branch that he wants to be baptized. So this next few weeks should be really great for us. Glad to hear dad's team is doing well. Keep it up. I will talk to you guys next week. Love you guys.
