Elder Kaas-Australia Week 4

Dear Parents,

Well to be honest this past week was rough as. Last week and this coming week are holidays for the kids so for these 2 weeks there has been no school. Which sounds like it is going to be a good opportunity for us but not quite. All of our Investigators were out of town so we pretty much did finding most of the days. We got 4 potentials and we are hoping at least 1 of them will become a new investigator. Some of them liked the tie that Hanna got me before I left and it started a conversation which got us a potential so we'll take it. It is a little difficult because you see and hear of all these missionaries from the district videos in America and how they are getting heaps of baptisms and we are kinda over here in little Cowra, Australia rejoicing when we get a potential. This is probably one of the hardest missions you can serve in but it is one of the best you can serve in. You learn that your purpose is not just to baptize others but to help out the ward/branch and invite others to come unto Christ, and baptism is only a step in that process. Besides that Australia has been awesome. I may want to stay here after my mission.....maybe. Just kidding I wouldn't do that to youse. But it is really cool here. We actually do not watch conference until this coming Saturday and Sunday and we watch it at the chapel. We are aloud to go to the temple once every 6 months. I will also send more of my flat and chapel. Overall this past month in Cowra is going really great and really fast. I know my mission is going to fly by so I am going to make the best of it. Thanks for everything youse taught me. Hope all goes well for the family and that youse enjoy conference.

Sincerely,

Elder Kaas
