Mon - We cleaned and prepared everything for the next week, and taught like 3 or 4 lessons and had a great night.
Tue - Was a normal day proselyting.
Wed - We went to multi-zone conference. I came in about 5 minutes early due to the traffic and a mad tro tro accident. (Yes, I was in a tro tro when I saw it, no, mine didn't crash, no, I wasn't wearing a seat belt before or after I saw the accident. haha) As soon as I arrived, the AP's went crazy calling me and said we need these wireless mics hooked up in like 2 minutes... Let's just say our faith and prayer worked. 5 minutes later and a lot of running back and forth and turning of random nobs and switches, they worked.
Thur - We went over to a member and baked... Sugar cookies! They were so concerned about the measurement, we were just like, "They're sugar cookies, how can we fail?! Sure, add more. I think that looks right. Will this work? Probably not, add it in." They thought we were like totally professional cooks... They were just super simple cookies that tasted amazing. haha! They said next time less sugar, just after I whispered to my companion, "Next time I think we need more sugar." I guess American and Ghanaian have different views on cookies...
Fri - We had interviews With Mission President. They went well and was super insightful for me.
Sat - We went on a motorcycle to the far side of our area... It was like totally awesome! 3 grown men on a small Motorcycle (150 CC) in heavy traffic with bicycle helmets... Don't worry Mom, I already decided that it wasn't a good idea. And if circumstances allow, we will not do it again... At least for now, because it was actually really cool and fun and not safe. Haha. Lots of love.
Sun - We walked to Mallam which is like 5-7 miles (depending on which part) from our house to teach some progressing investigators. Things ended up going late and we were walking home in the dark... To top that, we decided to walk some new streets and got totally lost. We eventually made it home and made tacos!!!!!! I was totally winging it, we put flour salt water and butter in bowl kneaded it into dough rolled and cooked it for tortillas... It was great...
Plus we taught a ton of lessons and had a great week...
It was very fast and can't wait to see you next week.
