First Week in St. Vincent!

Hey everyone!! Finally made it out into the field! This place is so cool, and so dang hot at the same time! Hearing all the snow that Cardston has been getting lately makes being here even better! I already have some really good stories, and my advice for anyone that might be coming to St. Vincent for some reason.. You need to experience the bus ride! Other than the fact you think you are going to die while you are on one, they have got to be my favourite part so far! And when I say bus, it's actually like 10 passenger vans they use here. They are literally so much fun, and when you get on they have the music just blasting haha! The drivers are absolutely insane but thats definitely what makes it fun! Other than the bus rides, I really love this Island too! The people are awesome and are usually very nice, but when they talk it literally sounds like they are speaking a different language. Like none of it makes sense at all when they are talking haha! So that's definitely something i'll have to work on for sure! My companion is Elder Taganap from the Phillipeans. (IDK if that's spelt right) He's just this little phillipeno so it's really funny! Him and I get along really good, so hopefully that continues!! I'm pretty sure we are like the only people on this island who aren't black, so when people see this white boy walking around with a little phillipeno they are probably like what the fetch!😂 Anyway I hope everyones last couple weeks have been good!!
