That title is not a joke. I swore I would never be a pen culture person, but I think I just took the gateway drug. Look:

Also I learned how to attach files where they actually should be. Pretty happy about that. Anyways. Reasons why this pen is worth $8;

It doubles as a tie clip! A very uncomfortable one. Other reasons; it writes like a normal pen. #BuyersRemorse # ItLooksPrettySweetInMyPocketTh ough
Anyways *Slicks back hair* Now let's talk about holy things. (Nacho Libre is like in my top 10 of things I miss here)
We started teaching two new investigators this week! They're just our teachers (Brother Lehnardt and Sister Stockwell) But they're super great investigators and they're allowed to give us a little feedback in class, which has been super helpful. The gift of tongues is SO REAL. We can give entire lessons in Russian just teaching by the spirit, and it's way, way better than when we were starting and just reading scripts. I love Russian more every day.
We also had to say goodbye to a bunch of our branch this week as they headed off to Russia, which was sad. But also awesome because they get to be in Russia!!! I'm seriously so jealous. We took a bunch of pictures with them, and I'll dispense those now.
-Here's all the missionaries in our branch going to Vladivostok!! The two elders on the far left and far right are Elder Downing and Elder Peterson, two of my favorite people here in the MTC. I'm sad they left, but it'll be awesome to see them again in Vlad. The three sisters on the right are our old Sister Training Leaders: Sister Holmes, Sister Carlson, and Sister Arrington. They're all great!" style="display:inline-block;overflow:hidden;white-space:nowrap;text-decoration:none;padding:1px 0px;border:none;width:100%;"> DSCN0177.JPG
-This is Elder Romanek, another awesome Elder that we lost this week. He's headed to Novosibirsk. He's been my choir buddy the whole time I've been here, which has been way fun." style="display:inline-block;overflow:hidden;white-space:nowrap;text-decoration:none;padding:1px 0px;border:none;width:100%;"> DSCN0163.JPG
-This is Elder Neuffer, immediately after bending to pick up a pen he dropped and losing everything in his shirt pocket. It was pitiful and hilarious, so obviously I took a picture." style="display:inline-block;overflow:hidden;white-space:nowrap;text-decoration:none;padding:1px 0px;border:none;width:100%;"> DSCN0187.JPG
-This is just a really cool pictures we have in our classroom. It's of Jesus and the 12, but it doesn't make it very obvious which one is Jesus. I don't know why I love it so much, but I do." style="display:inline-block;overflow:hidden;white-space:nowrap;text-decoration:none;padding:1px 0px;border:none;width:100%;"> DSCN0160.JPG
That's all the pictures I've got for this week. I got Alec's emails about the Spain MTC and I've got to admit that I'm pretty darn jealous. They get to do actual contacting in Madrid every Saturday, which I would give anything to be able to do. But we get really nice exercise courts, though, so it's ok! We've been playing volleyball literally every single day since we got here. It gets pretty intense here at the MTC, even though we can't keep score.

Anyways. I'm loving it here. It's been by far the most spiritual experience of my life, and I literally can't wait to get out in the field. Luckily time flies by here; it honestly feels like we got here like a couple days ago. I'll be in Vladivostok in no time and I am pumped. I miss and love everyone!
Elder Lawrence
P.S. I'm attaching the last four pictures again cause I think they attached through Google Drive and I don't know if some people won't be able to see them.
