No Such Thing as Bad Weather

Not a ton of time to write, but here's some highlights:
- Hoang and Sho are doing great! They have committed to live the Word of Wisdom and are reading actively. They have such a sincere desire, I love spending time with them! I keep forgetting to get a picture, we'll take one this week for sure. - We had an incredible meeting with Aleksandr! We're going to be studying the Book of Mormon together with him and comparing it to the Bible. His biggest hang-up is that he feels the Book of Mormon isn't scripture. But we know the cure for that; reading it! We're really hopeful for him. He's got a great desire to learn and I think it's only a matter of time until he receives his answer. - We dropped to -40 this Sunday! Which just so happens to be the intersection point of Celsius and Fahrenheit. Add to that another -20 F in wind chill and we were experiencing a real Siberian winter! But as they say here, there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. So we bundled up and made our way to church, and got a great turnout considering the temperature. The whole west side of the mission got hit by this cold front, and some branches saw a huge drop in attendance. But Tomsk was just a little under normal, it was awesome to see everyone come together to partake of the sacrament! I love the branch here so much. I'm loving every day out here! The older I get on my mission, the more I love the people and the language and the endless opportunities afforded by missionary service. It's such a different lifestyle than what I did for the first 18 years of my life, but the mission is the easiest place to just be happy and fulfilled. It just comes naturally when you're working. I love it!!
Thanks for everything! Love you all!!

- 5 minute walk to church = Ice collecting on the face. Crazy feeling when your eyelashes freeze together!
