Hey all!! This week has been amazing, I couldn't have asked for more!!
First off, an update on Fiodor and Tamara: Elder Spencer and I had a lesson with both of them on Wednesday, and it went incredible! We taught them the full restoration lesson, after which Elder Spencer was able to give them the baptismal invitation in Russian, which he did impeccably. They accepted! They are both preparing to be baptized on November 25th. I won't be here, but I know they're in good hands. I'm so excited for them!
Sunday was incredible, we had an amazing turnout at church! It was the most people I've seen at church since I got here to Ulan-Ude, and included 5 investigators, 3 less-actives, and 2 new people. Our home teaching activity last week and the fact that Sister Sokolova and I are leaving and invited everyone really paid off!
Other highlights this week:
- We met with the referral that we received from a member last week, Dima, and had a great first lesson. Took a Book of Mormon and agreed to read!- The son of one of the most active members here, Ludmila, came to church for the first time in three years! His name is Andrei, he seems super cool. Sad that I won't get to work with him, but the members obviously missed him a ton and they did an amazing job of making sure he felt welcome.- A semi-active member that we have been trying to meet with since I got here called us on Tuesday, and asked if we could meet up and start reading the Book of Mormon together! We met up and it was great! She and her husband are the parents of the branch president's wife of Sakhalin, she asked me to please try and work with them when I got to Ulan-Ude, and it finally happened!- Anton is back on the grid! He was super sick the last two weeks, even ended up in the hospital for a few days. He is doing ok, but still hasn't been to church in a while. He's still reading, and praying, he just needs to work on getting to church!
That's all I have time for, but there's been a lot more! This week really was amazing :)

Love you all! Thanks for everything!!
- The result of not having a smartphone for over a year; my handwriting is considerably better now
- Photoshoot in shiny suit coat because it was sunday night and I realized that I didn't have pictures to send
Sorry that there aren't more
