This week was a great but tiring one. Most weeks we have a lot of time where we have to find stuff to do, but this week we didn't have a single day where we had to stop and figure out what to do, it was just non-stop. This whole week led up to Wesley's baptism on Saturday! Our whole zone had a joint baptism (Natal Branco) so we got to watch 4 other people get baptized too! Wesley is such an awesome dude. He keeps all his commitments with us, so it didn't take him long to find out that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and make some changes in his life to become a disciple of Christ! This is the hardest and most tiring work I've ever known, but it's all worth it. Even if Wesley was the only person I taught that got baptized during the whole 2 years, I would be 100% content. During the Sermon on the Mount, Christ taught us to "lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven." In the eyes of God, nothing has more value than His children so the most valuable treasure in heaven is souls that been brought to God. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to help others be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, and I'm pumped that I still have a ton of time to keep doing that full-time!
I hope all of yall have a great Christmas and remember the true meaning!
