I first wanted to write you a letter to say happy birthday. I wanted to be sure this got to you on time. Hopefully it did. I got to see your birthday stuff all happen last year just before I left. Hard to think that was almost a year ago. Things have changed a lot for me in the time I was gone until now. I fell like I know so much more about who God really is now. I also see I'm slowly losing some of my hair. It's not bad but it is a little less.
Have fun with your party and getting to swim for a little longer before all that has to be closed up. Sometimes I miss just being able to relax in water. I also hope school starts up well and you enjoy your next year of classes. School can sometimes make you really mad, but you lok back and enjoy it. That makes me sound old, doesn't it?
How has it been so far to have Maddi around all the time? Hopefully you two find fun stuff to do together. If I had Harrison at our house all the time, you know how much fun I would have.
I'll get to talk to you all for a little bit during Christmas. That's still a little ways away but it seems a lot closer than you would guess.
Enjoy everything. I love you and Happy Birthday. - Elder Applegate
