Good morning to everyone today. It happens to be raining over here, so we really hope it stops by tonight so we don't have to bike in it. The last few days have been busy. I also realized that I have not mentioned much about the people I am teaching recently.
We got referred to a guy from Ghana named Christopher about a month ago. He has been learning really fast, and made a lot of progress this weekend. He has progressed so fast that I haven't talked about him much. We can only teach him on Saturdays, and last Saturday something really great happened for him. Pause for effect.........
I also got to give him the gift of the holy ghost yesterday.
Yeah brother Walbreckt was the one to baptize him. It was awesome; he was one of those three week baptism stories you occasionally hear about. Three lessons and he was ready. We still see him and teach more about the church, but the hardest step was no problem.
We didn't eat lunch yesturday and all I thought about before dinner was food. As I am sure you know, there is a papa Johns in the area. I see delivery cars all the time and they make me hungry.
We already had a thanksgiving dinner on saturday. The Pike family is going to see family for the week of thanksgiving, but they still wanted to have an actual home dinner. Funny part was we actually solicited the dinner away from the other elders in exchange for a dinner we had planned earlier in the week that one of their investigators would be at.
