Week 5 letter

Hola! This week was good. I really don't remember a lot of it Haha. It all starts to run together because we do the same thing pretty much everyday :P Before I get to the bunch of funny things that happened this week, I should talk a little about my adventures having an actual companion hanging out with me. Last week Elder Durfee's family went camping, so we got permission to be companions because we're 2nd cousins. It was a lot of fun! He came up with the idea of following mexico city time because his two other companies in the district do that. That means we would get up at 4:30am and go to bed around 8:30-9:30… it was awesome having someone making you accountable to get up that early. Companionships are inspired haha. I can't wait to get an actual companion now! I'll leave some pictures of our adventures.

Okay, quick scripture thing before some random moments this week. I have a new favorite scripture hero! I would ask you guys to guess, but probably only my close family and companion know lol. If you guessed it then that's incredible because his name isn't mentioned in the scriptures. It's the servant of Helaman! Some of you are probably like, "Who is that?" And some of you might say "the guy who stabbed Kishkuman?" Yes, it's that guy. He's in Helaman 2, go read about him. I like him because he knows his enemies, just like how we need to know how Satan is going to try to tempt us or bring us down. He figured out what Kishkuman's plan was and he planned accordingly.

Oaky, funny stuff! The internet went out while I was at the Roger's Annex on Monday, so I spent one of my classes on my phone under a desk because I needed to charge it.

The Elders have evolved in their virtual background endeavors, they have upgraded to videos of themselves and synced them with each other, so they would all do different tasks at the same time.

Me and Elder Forman talked about the concept of perfection in our comp study. He, being a left handed pitcher, believes he could get one past the Son of Man, but I on the other hand believe he could hit a home run every time. Can't wait for the second coming haha.

Today, my district played a different version of Mafia for our P-day activity. We thought that murdering each other might not have been missionary appropriate, so we changed the concept slightly.  This letter is getting kinda long, but I'll post a copy of the rules at the bottom of my letter (Credit to Commander Evans, he's way awesome!)

I love reading all of your emails! Thanks so much for all of your support! I have 5ish days till I ship out to Salt Lake! My P-days will change to Mondays, so I am not sure if I'll be able to get another email out until the Monday of August 10th. Love you all!
