What a week
Hola Mamà!
How are you?! I have been thinking about you so much this week and about your traveling, and your class. I have been praying super hard for your protection, and I still am. I am glad to hear that the class went well. (I was really praying that you would be able to take it all in).
So, are you okay health-wise? Please tell me everything. Is there something that I can do for you (besides prayers). I do worry about you. This week I did realize something though...I know that there is still a lot going on in your life and back home, but I have changed a lot this past year. I feel really calm. I know that you are being watched over - without any doubt!
Mom, you are just my hero. I really am so proud of you talking to Mario! What an awesome experience! I will definitely be telling the other elders in my zone tonight!!!!! That just makes me feel so happy! You have just
touched someones life forever! I promise you. Thank you for doing that!
Please thank those elders for me!
So this week has been absolutely NUTS! It's gone by sooo slow, and sooo fast, all at the same time. Last week, because of transfers, we had p day on Tuesday, one day to work
on Wednesday, and then Thursday we had our District meeting...and, oh yeah, WE HAD TO MOVE! The sisters apartment contract ran out, and since they live really far from their area, and since we actually live in their area, we had to find a new apartment, and they had to move in to ours. So Thursday was nuts. We packed up in the morning, and in the afternoon we moved to our new apartment and then helped the hermanas move into our old apartment!
It was fun but tiring (see the pictures). Before leaving our apartment, I
made a little scavenger hunt for the hermanas with scriptures being the
clues....I told them if they found them all, then I will owe them an alfajor! They are still looking haha.
So, our new apartment is better situated in our area. It is actually like a little apartment square built on top of this ladies house. The owner, Mali, is actually a member, but super inactive....but nice...so we hope to be able to help her out a bit. However, it is still being built, so until it is finished, we are living with our zone leaders! Its kinda crazy! There isn't much space, and I am basically living out of a duffel bag, but hey, its okay!
Church was good yesterday. I, once again, taught a class with NO warning or preparation. I taught the youth, which isn't always easy since they are
youth and don't always focus or pay attention...but it went really well.
We talked about the primitive church of Christ and about the Apostasy...Yeah,
come to think of it, it went really well considering that I didn't even look at
the manual.
So I am losing my mind! I am soooo excited for General Conference and for Easter! I remember the amazing spirit that I felt on Easter last year, and I was able to bear my testimony in church yesterday about the Pascua (easter). I am really needing a "fill-up" from Conference. I am so excited to
hear about what I need to hear to be a better missionary, and I am excited to hear what the Lord wants all His children to know RIGHT NOW! I know that we live in a glorious age with live prophets, seers, and revelators. I have
been studying DyC 107 these past 2 days. I love it. The Church is incredible!
Mom, prepare yourself well for Conference. Pray for the prophet and apostles every day this week. Get ready with some questions and ask for specific guidance! Please pray for our investigators and members too so that they will come to conference! Like I said, before its a much bigger deal here to come to conference!
I love you forever and ever. Thank you for being my hero. I am praying for you sooo much! Enjoy conference and Easter and know how much I love you!
