Kia Ora!
This week has flown by! Elder Watts and I had a really good week. On Pday, we went to Manukau Heads Lighthouse. it was sweet as! The view was really beautiful and it looks over the ocean. On the way back from the light house, one of the Elders spotted a wild turkey. We pulled the car over to check it out and an elder from PNG (Papua New Guinea) chucked a rock at it's head and killed it. So, that's why I have a picture with a dead turkey...Haha. It was pretty crack up!
I went on exchanges with another Elder in my district this week. Elder Callahan is from LA and is cool as. He doesn't really like riding in cars so we walked everywhere that day. We walked about 13 kilometers so that was really good. We didn't have too much luck that day, but we got to talk to some cows...they were really interested in the message. Haha
Toward the end of this week, a couple of Elders got together for a Kiwi-giving! The elder from PNG was able to hunt two ducks and four eels along with the turkey he killed a few days earlier. We had a MEAN as feed! It was not like any Thanksgiving I had back home, but its defiantly one I'll remember. We went around the room and shared what we were grateful for. I said I was grateful for all my loved ones back home and the support I get from each of you.
We finally got an appointment that went through! We met with Ben Teaka and shared with him the Plan of Salvation. He's having some family problems at the moment, so I know he felt so happy when he was told that families can be together forever. Keep his family in your prayers!
I was so grateful for the Appointment we had with Ben because it was the only appointment that wasn't canceled on us this week. I know that sounds pretty bad, but it's made me super grateful for any teaching opportunities I get.
I'm so grateful for all that the Lord provides for me and all that He has done for me. I love my Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful for the selfless act that he performed. I know that The Book of Mormon is the word of God and that daily study from it will bless the lives of people who will read it with sincerity. I love each one of yous back home and I pray for yous!
