Hey Everyone! Hope you all have been doing well!
I just wanted to send a quick shout out first to one of my Best friends in the world, my cousin Max who got married this weekend! Congrats man! I love you and I hope you and Jacie are happy together!
Also, I want to apologize for the lack of Pictures everyone keeps asking about. I see cool stuff all the time and I just appreciate it, but never remember and think " Hey I should totally take a picture of that". So I promise I’m going try harder to remember. Hopefully, the loading won’t be so bad when I have them as well.
But anyways, back to my week. We had a good week here in Slagelse so let's get into it.
• Well, this week we were definitely blessed with food! We were blessed to have an eating appointment every day this week. That just doesn’t happen for us. Randomly people would invite us over to eat with them and it was awesome. We only had to cook once and I felt like I was on a stateside mission for a little bit ha-ha (except the eating appointments were in Danish so it wasn’t hard to snap back to reality). People have been so good to us.
• We have been unable to meet with Anja for a couple weeks now. She is staying in touch with our ward mission leader which is good, but she worries us a bit because she isn’t responding much to us though.
• We also met a lady named Connie whilst knocking this last week which was way cool. She has investigated before a long time ago and was more than willing to meet with us again! She just lost her brother, so it might take a little time to get in. So hopefully that all goes well.
• Also, the Book of Mormon Musical is coming next week here. The mission has ordered thousands of Books of Mormons so that we can help anyone who wants to really know what the church is about and not what the musical says it’s about. Missionaries will be nearby during the week of the musical. So I am way pumped for that because so many people are going to go watch it and then going to want to learn about what real Mormons are like so that should be cool!
• It was fun hearing about all the updates on the family from my parents this week as they visited Utah. I’m glad everyone is doing well.
• We are looking forward to some bowling today for P-day. My companion and I have a great time together. We had splits this week a lot of the time this week. We went to this expensive Chinese restaurant with a family in Nykobing this week. They were so gracious to take us there. Such a blessing. We did a lot of train riding and walking. I even got a Danish scarf that is helping me keep warm during all this cold. Sometimes the train schedule and buses can be crazy here and we get extra walking because they don’t always run where and when we need them. It’s better when we can use our car instead. The other day we took a bus near the hospital and got off at the stop and then found out the bus would have gone all the way to our house. Good times.
• So yeah that was our week! Hopefully you guys are all enjoying wherever you guys are! Hopefully you are all staying warm and reading your scriptures! Have a great week everyone. Love you all!
