Just a quick update, this past week we had zone conferences so we got to go to Moncton, and Newfoundland! This time our flights weren't delayed so we were able to make it to Newfoundland and then back on time! For some reason the office booked our flight to leave at 11 pm at night so we didn't get to our hotel in Newfoundland until 1 am haha we were still expected to wake up at 6:30. It was a long week but it was good. Elder Larson and I trained the missionaries on the Doctrine of Christ and how it allows us to overcome our sins we make in life. When we teach this to our investigators it allows them to understand the importance of Joseph Smith and the Restoration. We then Role-played a lesson scenario of how we can do this in lessons to improve our lessons and the amount of investigators we find in the mission. I personally learned so much. We felt like our training got better and better with each conference because we knew what we needed to focus on.
Bobbi Savoy is progressing rapidly and she is so excited to get baptized. We taught her the Plan of Salvation last week and he agrees with everything we teach her. Hannah was the same way and I feel like its just too easy. Like I have never taught someone so prepared for the Gospel. She wrote us a poem about her life and the experience that she had while meeting with us. It was soo cool!! haha I am being blessed.
Elder Larson and I are preparing for the Leadership Conference in week 5 of the Conference. We are getting trainings, activities, etc. prepared for the conference. A leadership conference is when all of the leaders in the mission go to Halifax and we have meetings for 2 days straight. Its going to be fun.
