Elder Jacob Orgill

Transfer Calls, RG3 and Job Applications

We just got transfer calls last night, and Elder Orgill and I are staying again in Monte Vista! At the end of this transfer we will have been together for 6 months! Other than that, Elder Baker is leaving and going to Modesto. He will be hecka missed because he was the 4th member of the fearsome foursome. Roger Gomez III, aka RG3 got home this last week from his mission this last week, and he is super cool. He served in the Independence, MO mission. He was super excited, and he is adjusting well back to normal life, his dad bought him an; iphone 7 plus, an apple watch, and brand new beats!!!! He got loaded. We got here early for preparation day, and played some basketball with him and his friends. It was super fun, I straight up balled on all of them except one 5'7" freshman who can Tomahawk Dunk it!!!! He is a beast!!!!!!! OOH and we are loving the new schedule. This last week, we have been focusing on teaching the importance of the Spirit to the members. 2 Nefi 32: 5 says: "5 For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do." I really love this scripture because through the Spirit we can know all of the things that we need to do. We need to remember to do all that we can to stay worthy of the companionship of the Holy Ghost so that we can let Him guide us. The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead, and we can have him with us to guide, comfort, and heal us in our lives if we stay worthy. I hope that we can all stay worthy of His companionship, so that we can know what God would have us do in our daily lives. So thats my spirital thought, bc yall have been complaining i never say anything too spiritual, haha so there ya go!! also this week I helped out this dude named Jose and i filled out about a million job applications for him bc he had no idea how to do anything!!!! hahah He is super nice, and then get this, I go over to see my man Jesus Chavez, and he is doing the most Jesus Chavezy thing, he is standing on top of his trailor with a saw tied to the end of a broom, and he is sawing off the branches above his trailor!!! lolol he is the most mexican dude ive ever met!!!! hahaha ooh and this week a member gave us 75 DOLLARS TO PANARA hahah so we bought hecka bread, ill send a pic of all the bread we bought!!! hahah it was a pretty dope dinner!!!!! Well, that's pretty much it for this week, I hope to hear from you all soon, and I hope all is well! Bless up!!! Love you!!! Elder Little
