So this week has been crazy. It's going to be a really informal email because I am typing like a mad person.
So Monday, Elder Walters and I played basketball and soccer with the Genève English and Spanish elders, and our zone leaders and then we went to a rendezvous with our investigator family the Family Munes and we taught them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and when we follow the example of Jesus Christ we fully become disciples of Christ. We invited the family to be baptized and they expressed their willingness to do so but they are going on a Noel vacation in Brest France so they will pray and read the scriptures on vacation but once they get back they will tell us what they feel. So I'm really excited for afterwards.
Then we had a pretty awesome rendezvous with the Father And Mother of the Jacques clan and they are amazing people they were one of the first but many to give us gifts for Christmas. So that was really cool and we had the greatest cheese called Rockford (Roquefort) Bleu Cheese and I'm not a big cheese person, if I ever was offered Bleu cheese before the mission I would of said absolutely not, but it was soooo good.
We then taught our less active Aurore and we had the lesson that was the lesson where we sat down and talked about what her struggles were that was keeping her from being active and she realized all the lesson that we taught her before had surmounted to this one lesson on how to help her mentally, spiritually and physically quit smoking and become a strong member in the church. She was super moved and she wants to really change her life. She then showed up to church this week so that
was a great miracle.
Elder Walters this week, has been in a baking phase and we cooked Banana bread and brownies for the members and less actives and we traveled through the streets of Gex to deliver those baked goods wearing a Christmas hat and Christmas cheer
This week hasn't been the best number wise but over all a good week.
Love from the South of France!
