How have you all been? I have been good. We have got two people who are pretty much on date for baptism. One of them is from Mexico, the other from China. They both want to start a new life which is one of the reasons they came to Perth is to start that new life. Sandra, the one from Mexico, is on date for the 3rd of February. Eric, the one from China, is not currently on date, but really wants to be baptized and will shortly be baptized.
That is pretty much all that happened this last week and a half. I have continued to grow, but it is a slow process. I will eventually grow to the point where I can freely talk to the people that I meet, and that will be a great day. But also my spiritual growth is quite a bit. The spirit testifies to me when I study letting me know that what I study is true. I tried Cocoa Samoa this week, which is pretty much hot chocolate with chunks of chocolate in it. It was pretty good.
For the week, my spiritual thoughts are focused on our own individual faith. You have to choose in order for yourself to grow. You can not rely on anyone else to make you grow. If you do not choose yourself to grow, then you will not grow. You are in charge of your life. And how close you are to God and what your spiritual side is. By applying His Atonement, even though we are all sinners, He [Jesus Christ] will plead for us as our advocate to the Father and will plead for us to stay in His presence.
If you don't know something about the gospel, you are able to find out about it. Use your resources, whether it be Gospel Library, or lds.org you have the resources to continue to build your spiritual knowledge so that your foundation is sure and you will never fall away from the church.
That is pretty much it for this week. I would love to hear from you all. Have a good week and stay strong.
