My Favorite Scripture

Hola Familia!!

This week was a really good week! We didn't have any baptisms yet but on the 6th of December we will have 5 i think! We had a zone conference this week with the mission president and he talked about some cool things the church is doing for Christmas. I guess the church has a billldboard in times square with a video of Jesus Christ and a video for you tube. All the missionaries here are going to recive cards to give out to people for Christmas. The church is doing a lot of stuff this Christmas for people to see what we believe in. There wasnt very many crazy experinces this week just normal visits and finding some new people. There is one guy who we contacted one day and then this week we saw him again and said that he found a job after he talked to us and he thought that was cool. We found a really cool family to teach and they are married! it is really hard to find famillies here that are married. Laura, one of our investigators said she wants to go to church one more time before she gets baptized to be sure but she had a lot of things happen this week and couldnt go yesterday. Susana and her daughters are ready to be baptized and went to church yesterday and everything! They just want to wait until the 6th because this weekend they have a dance or somehting for the end of the school year and its going to be hard for them to go to church the next day. On saturday my companion and I had a very intersting experience! we were walking back to our apartment and a lady asked us what we think about gay people and had lots of questions because she is gay and then her partner was there and we talked to them for a little bit walking to the apartment. it was really interesting because we told what we believe but they felt that we accept everyone. they really liked us and kept asking stuff about the US and all of that stuff. Haha one of them gave us a hug and it was really weird! haha but it was a good experience to talk to them. Well thats how my week went and I feel better with my health and all of that! I'm glad to hear that everything is going well there! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving! If you want to know I will be eating luch with the Ferreya family on Thursday because we eat lunch there every Thursday and we don't have dinner appointments here. My Hola Familia!!
