There seems to be an infinite amount of excuses people have not to talk to us. It's too hot. It's too cold (haven't heard this one in a while). It's summer break. School is starting. I have to floss my dog. Every excuse in the Book.
I asked one guy who was outside washing his car if he wanted to hear a message about Jesus Christ. He said, no thanks I do Bible studies. Which boggles the mind, It's like they don't hear the words Jesus Christ sometimes!
One time I had a companion call someone out on it, we asked if he wanted to hear a message about Christ and he said "no thanks I'm catholic ", so my comp says "doesn't that mean you believe in Christ?" And the dude was like "oh yeah. Right. ".
But we have had slightly more success this week than last, and even had a wonderful miracle happen!
Miracle of the week 🌟: We found someone new to teach, they've met with missionaries before but stopped before being baptized. But we found out the only reason she said no was because she was afraid of Water, so we talked about leaps of faith and praying for strength, and she said she would get baptized! 🥳
So here is our new and updated teaching list, not counting recent converts:
- Rose (the new lady we are teaching)
- Maelee
- Aiden
- Debra
Once again I'm asking for your prayers, because the adversary is throwing some fiery darts at these wonderful children of God and they need the divine support.
I only have 10 more emails to write! How crazy is that? To quote from avengers endgame, part of the journey is the end. And with the end of my journey of a mission coming closer, I am determined to end with a crescendo.
I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I know that it has been restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. And I know that God is real, and that he loves me and everyone I will ever meet. Because we are the children of a loving God.

Some more pics of stuff I just find interesting to photograph. Not really much rhyme or reason to it! Basically when I see something visually interesting I try to get a good photo from it.
But nobody has randomly handed me a chicken in a while so I don't have any photos of myself this week haha
