Last week of the transfer
Well the transfer is coming to a close, I'll probably be getting a new comp in a week, which stinks because I'm gonna miss Elder Garn. Actually this whole district has been really awesome so I'm a bit bummed it's going to change a lot.
But, things have been really good here. I went on exchanges with the Spanish elders again, and I got to give a message in Spanish! I wrote down what I was going to say and put it into Google translate, then I shared it at a member dinner. It was a really cool experience.
I had food poisoning for a bit this past week, I ate some old pasta and it did not agree with me. I was stuck in the apartment for a bit so I wrote a little song about not eating old pasta.
I've also learned a lot this week. I'm around some amazing elders and sisters, and I love hearing their testimonies and experiences. There's a little balcony at our apartment, and sometimes before bed, my roommates and i, we'll chill there and just talk for a while. The view isn't great, because we live across from a bar and a gas station, but it's pretty relaxing since it doesn't get too cold here.
My personal testimony of the Lord grows every day. I've been very blessed. And I know a big part of that has been studying the BoM every day, it's become such an essential part of my life and I'm really grateful for it. In Moroni 10:5, we are encouraged to pray to know those words are true. I'd like to invite you all to pray to know the truth of the book of Mormon, even if you already have a testimony of it, I know the spirit will reaffirm the truthfulness of it to you, as it has to me.
