MTC has been an enlightening experience so far. I've learned a lot, especially that as a missionary my goal is to strive to be as selfless as Jesus Christ. A mission is not really about teaching lessons or service projects, although those are good. It's about loving others, through sincere and kind interactions, and inviting them to come unto Christ through that kindness.
The blessing of being set apart as a missionary has brought great revelation and power from the Lord. Although I am man of few words, I have been better able to speak and interact. My trials which would have bothered me seem insignificant. I just- I feel the love Jesus Christ has shown me, and I feel honored to be tasked with sharing that.
Honestly the spiritual stuff has been so powerful, the day-to-day almost doesn't even feel worth writing about. Maybe that's how Mormon felt abridging the plates.
But my plate records of a week or so should fit in an email.
I was a little under the weather but the doc gave me some good meds and advice, so I'm on the mend.
My district is the best district at the MTC, they all bring such a great amount of spirit and humor to our life at the mtc.
My companion, Elder Buhler, is the best companion I could hope for at the mtc. He's super thoughtful an cheerful, and knows the gospel better than I do. He's a great singer too, and actually served as a performing missionary in Navoo.
I wish I could write about every member of our district but this is already pretty long.
Oh also I was made zone leader.
Tldr; Mtc is pretty cool, Jesus Christ knows and loves all of you, and I also love you all and I hope the next taco you eat tastes extra good, just remember to bless it.

(P.p.s. I recommend reading Mosiah 9-10 if you need some good reading material. Zeniff was like, the coolest story in the Book of Mormon. )
