all prospective missionaries or current missionaries, I highly encourage you
all to read The Highly Effective Missionary by David M. R.
Covey. I read it at the beginning of this transfer with Elder Ecklund and it
has changed my mission. We get into a ton of houses tracting, literally we are
breaking the doors down. We put way more people on baptismal date per week, and
all in all, it's made me a more effective missionary. So READ IT!!
We found some awesome
people this week tracting!! Unfortunately, the coolest of them couldn't go to
church because they got sick :( but it was still good. Elder Ecklund and I have
also started working a lot more with the members, going to their houses to do
FHEs and play a referral game! Through this, we found Analía! She
is SO prepared. She's the cousin of a member, and she is going through a rough
time in her life. Her husband left her a month ago and she is currently
unemployed. She is so willing to learn about the Gospel and even went to church
this last Sunday. Tomorrow we will put her on baptismal date and we're
gonna see if we can baptize her here in January!!
We went to Ward
Council yesterday! It was super awesome to get to participate with the ward
leaders and make some awesome plans for the month of January and for 2020.
In boring zone leader
news, the missionaries of our zone are dropping like flies. One of the Hermana’s
is incapacitated because she's anorexic. A different Hermana is out of
commission because she has gastritis. An elder is heading to mission HQ
to be on bed rest because of a weird arterial inflammation he's got going on.
January has been rough to the zone thus far hahaha.
This last week we went
to the monthly Leadership Council in Salta. It was fun to get to see my
No pictures this week,
I was pretty lazy with the camera haha.
