Today, I was transferred. I left my home-away-from-home, in Manantial. There, I had a crazy last week as I worked only with the Young Men in my ward, while Elder Cooper was recuperating from his appendix surgery in Salta. I pulled off Manuel and Florencia's marriage alone. Then Friday, Elder Cooper came back. We had the baptism of Florencia on Saturday, and then on Sunday I said goodbye to all the members and all my converts.
My new assignment is as zone leader in the Jujuy Campo zone. I've now hit all 4 provinces (think states) that our mission covers. My companion is Elder Ruiz from Mexico, he has 20 months in the mission. I'm excited to learn from him and all his mission experience.
I really miss Manantial. I had 16 baptisms there, and became great friends with lots of the members. Hard to express in words the love I have for the people of Manantial.
Next week I'll send some pictures of me with my new companion for sure.
