Elder Saavedra

Week 26 Granjas

QOTW: Just do it ANYWAYS
Hahaha hello world and everyone in it how are you all doing. first of all crazy story my friend Max Christiansen is serving in Peru, in the same city as my comp right now- Elder Espinoza. And Max is teaching his family!!! so crazy cool small world but yeah that was cool.
Awesome okay so the quote is just do it anyways, from my xc coach Mr. Bartlett. hahaha its just so true, sometimes you just have to get out there and do it. Stop overthinking it and just DO IT. Hahah easy to say, hard to do... but that is when we can build character and develop those attributes of Christ as well. I have been putting that as my mindset, and we have been seeing a lot of success with the contacts and new investigators... but its all thanks to God. I know where my strength is, I know that Elder Anderson is nothing without God, same for you all... sorry to burst that bubble haha. But if someone realizes where their true strength is, they will have more success with whatever aspect of their life.
Someone once said... "If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give the world the best you’ve got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God ... anyway." So basically, just do it anyway... if you want to be a better basketball player, a better missionary, better person... just do it anyway and get after it. Become better. Realize that with Christ we can always achieve more. He is willing to help us, but are we willing to ask in humility that we need it? I know that if we pray and act with faith, our Heavenly Father will answer our prayers. I know that for a fact. I have seen it, miracles included. Miracles come after faith, not before. This week was really cool and I got to develop the very difficult attribute of Christlike Patience.... something this world needs a little more of. Yeah this week stretched me out to grow a little more, but its all good, i will try to be more humble and accept the changes the Lord has in store, whatever they may be. This is His work, His church, His people, i am only His servant preforming labor. Love Him with all my heart and i know that he lives. This is the restored church of Jesus Christ on the earth today, we have many blessings in store. Take the step of faith, and just do it anyways... have faith, repent, be baptized and recieve the holy ghost, then perservere for the rest of your life on earth. So simple, what an opportunity we have here on earth to complete that. May you all find success and the Lords hand in your daily life... love you all so much.
Love Elder Anderson
