Dang this week was freaking busy!! I hope all you had a great week!
Lets start out with last week. because I forgot to mention a pretty dom milagro!
I was sicker than a dog! I contracted the stomach flu again! It was pretty awful but as a missionary you just continue, and we still woke up at 6:30 and tracted until 9. but while I was teaching and knocking doors, I felt great and in between appointments, I was throwing up on the streets of langdon! It was a sight to see!! but it was really cool to see how much the lord will bless you to complete his work. not once while talking to someone did i feel as sick is I really was!
Elder Mendez Finally made it to the temple Y'all. It was pretty amazing! If you ever have the opportunity to go the LA temple, GO!!! it is one of the most beautiful temples I have ever been in! Especially as a missionary. the temple means a lot more to me now. Especially having to plan my trip instead of just deciding and going right then!! but it was really cool. Hermano surano took us, and this guy is crazy! The entire way down, all we did was talk about trucks and about how there will be trucks in the celestial kingdom. it was a great car ride. he took his 2 boys and their names are Elijah and Jethro. I hope that explains him enough for you!
Sadly, on Friday, we had our interview with Hugo, Mariella and Christopher. Hugo and Mariella aren't married! We talked to hugo about it, and he was really sad that he couldn't get baptized. Christopher (their son) is going to get baptized next week, but we have to wait for Hugo and Mariella to get married before they can get baptized! but it will come soon. they both know how important it is, and they really want to be baptized!
On a brighter note, Yesterday was the primary program! It was awesome, we got to watch emely (our RC) sing. I love the spanish primary programs because the kids are 10 times louder but just as bad at singing as the congregation! a monotone version of A Child's Prayer has never been so beautiful to me! also they take it seriously here. all the boys were wearing white shirts and the same ties and all the girls wore the same dresses! it was like the mormon tabernacle choir! They also all had HLJ (CTR) Badges on! it was dope!
So thats my week!! I Love you all and hope you have a blessed week!!
P.S. sorry, but my camera is broken, so I don't have any pictures right now!!
