Elder Zortman,
Your letters as of late have been a bit sparse! You forgot to write to all your fans last week also. I know you are a busy guy and do not type fast. Maybe you can use the microphone to speak into your phone and copy and paste it in your email. Just an idea! It is hard to believe that January is almost here and we will be starting 2 hour church. It is hard to imagine what that will look like. I am excited to study the New Testament next year. It will be interesting to see how diligent we can be in studying at home. We all seem to be on different schedules right now. I love the little moments when we can slow things down and read the scriptures together. Yesterday I got to teach the Christmas lesson. The spirit was strong in our class. I love those moments when the children just get it and share their testimonies. There is nothing like a testimony of a child. So pure and trusting completely. I am sad because we only have this class for 2 more weeks and then they move on. I have come to love and care for each of them and it is hard to let them go. Have you been able to participate in light the world. I am sure you have but would like to hear some of what you have done. Do you have any details on when you will call home? I want to make sure we are all ready!! That will be my best Christmas present this year getting to talk with my Missionary. Write back soon! Don't forget your fans! Oh and pictures would be great. I need a new name badge picture the last one you sent was a bit blurry. I love you so much! Keep up the good work! Love Mom ❤❤❤🙉🙉❤❤❤

Here is the plan ChristmasEve/Day and New Year’s Eve: Missionaries are not to tract on Christmas Eve/Day or on New Year’s Eve. Rather, missionaries are to visit members, generate referrals, teach less active members, and teach investigators with whom they have a scheduled appointment. Appointments on holidays should be brief. In addition, on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day you are given an extra hour for dinner. We would like you to write a thank you note to each family that has you over on both holidays!!! We have never asked you to do that during the regular working days – but these holidays are special and for a family to invite you into their home is a sacrifice on their behalf. We would encourage you to be respectful and to write a note of gratefulness!! We will be extremely disappointed if you do not follow through with this request. Merry Christmas and we love each and every one of you and are so grateful for the opportunity of serving with you!!!
